Almost there

 It's been a very busy here lately with many interesting things going on. One of those interesting things resulted in an 8" gash in the car tyre and a very interesting burning smell. Why does any of this matter? It's made painting Thorgrim feel like it's taken far longer than it actually has. I had to force myself to sit down and do some work on him as I'd no interest in doing it.

Lucky I got the four dwarfs carrying him done and the throne of power is just about there with only the underside left to do. I'm still puzzling over how to put everything together and if I really need to go so far as pinning the throne into the dwarfs. Hopefully some resin will be enough to hold it all together I might have to do some tests on a spare mini to see how it holds up. I'm no longer convinced that I'll get the army done on time but I'll keep working away at it and the empire is always ready to step in if needed.

I'm looking forward to starting on king Thorgrim himself as he should be fun to do. The banners are a different matter and although I don't like it I may have to resort to using printed ones but I'll have a go at doing some freehand first, don't expect much though.
