20 marauders done
In some ways, it's been a terrible time in the hobby. BOYL has been cancelled in the first year I could make it, there's the unfortunate passing of John Blanche, and there's been a complete lack of any Old World updates. I also bought Resident Evil 2 and 3, which could prove disastrous for painting time. On the other hand, I'm halfway through the marauders. I really got into a rhythm with painting them and managed to finish four a week, but now that 20 are done, it's time for a break. I've now started on the three Dragon Ogres, but I'm not sure of the best way to paint them, and I'm worried my colour choices are too light. When I get some painting time again, I'll try doing a wash and drybrush on one of them. It's either that or shading and highlighting each muscle individually, which could be rather time-consuming.
