4 down and an army to go
It's taken a lot of trial and error but I finally got the first 4 marauders done. It's taken far longer than I would have liked but I'm happy with the end result so I guess that's time well spent. I think the biggest problem getting to this stage was the basing, I just couldn't come up with a scheme I liked. I tried alot of different ways but nothing seemed to fit the miniatures. I'd put off trying snow bases because that's what everyone does but if it's good enough for Led Zeppelin it's good enough for me. I jumped in the car and headed for the hobby shop to grab some dark static grass and valhallen blizzard. At the moment I'm sort of happy with the results I'm sure with a little more time and practice I'll like them more. While the initial 4 took far too long I'm sure the rest will go a bit quicker.
