200th post spectacular - War Wagon

 Well those 200 posts kinda snuck up on me luckily I've got the perfect model ready for it the Empire War Wagon. 

4th edition was where I started, well hero quest really, and the war wagon was one of the stand out minis of the time. I couldn't afford it then and going by eBay prices I couldn't afford it now so when it came out on made to order it was an instant buy. Do more made to order GW I need a screaming bell. My army is already in the Talabecland colour scheme so it wasn't a problem matching with the classic model I remembered from White Dwarf although I did swap the red and yellow around to make it more bad ass. All in all I'm really happy with how it turned out and best of all I got it painted in time for a tournament.

Hopefully it goes well but whatever happens I'll need to decide what I'm painting next. I'd like to make another army and I'm thinking Skaven might be fun to do if I can get past all the clan rats. I'd also like dark elves but I can't get them at my local shop and I prefer to buy there rather than buying from GW.

Sometimes writing blog posts is easy sometimes I struggle even with a great mini so I'll leave it here. The next post will probably be a tournament wrap up unless I get a burst of painting inspiration.
