Wohh, We’re Halfway There (Wagon on a Prayer)

 Three crew down and three to go. List submissions were due yesterday but there was no chance of the gryphon getting painted so that wasn't a problem. I got my list finalised and sent in. As much as I like to worry about getting stuff painted even I should be able to get three guys finished in two weeks but I know if I get complacent I'll keep putting them off until it becomes a problem.

After this I don't know what I'll do. I'm trying to decide between wood elves, dwarfs and skaven but I'm leaning towards skaven. For dwarves it's a case of rebasing the infantry and painting the war machines although these are 4th ed mostly so I'm not sure how well metal minis will travel. Saying that I don't know if I'll keep going to events so maybe that won't be a problem. Doing skaven will mean buying most of the army which is good in that I enjoy going to the shop for a wander around but I'd have to order the stuff in which isn't the same but should still give me my fix. Now if only I could get some slayers from the local shop.

After being unable to decide how much detail to paint I ended up painting their eyes. I'll never make it as a speed painter.
