Grudge thrower

 The first war machine for the dwarfs is completed although I always preferred rock lobber to grudge thrower. Pretty straightforward but also very time consuming doing the wood grain and highlighting the metallics. I did try dry brushing it but I can never get right so got it to a point I was happy with then finished it off with a regular brush. I'm missing the handle from the front of the grudge thrower, or think I am not sure how many it's meant to have, but I don't think thats something to worry about.

I decided on blue and yellow for the crew with some purple as a spot colour. They were fun little paint jobs but also unremarkable making this quite a short post. One thing worth noting is that on the front of the grudge thrower I wrote dammaz and the symbol for anvil so 'grudge anvil' and on the back I did the rune for work. I would have liked to find the runes for the various magical runes you can add to war machines but I think this works just as well.

I've got just under five weeks to get the army finished but I should be fine as long as I don't try to get the banners done.
