8 weeks to the old world

 Those weeks are really starting to fly by now. At the moment I'm still working on the road wardens. The flesh is done on all ten horses which doesn't look great but rather than worry about it and try glazing to improve things I decided to do a test model. 

It does look better with the straps and hair done although now I'm worried about the hair. I'm sure it will be fine once all the high lights are done. I'm hoping that the riders won't take to long I seem to remember them having a lot of armour. Once these models are finished that will bring me up to 1411 points so a general, bsb and some magic gubbins should be able to fill that missing points nicely. At that point I can relax and work on some nice extras like the hellblaster volley gun and a war alter which I recently built (kind of).

The Horus heresy age of darkness box has been staring down at me during this project. It's calling to me trying to pull me away from getting things finished. I must be strong.
