7 weeks to the old world
As you can probably tell from the picture not much got painted this week. Without going into to much detail global whiskey sales are on a downward trend meaning cutbacks at the distillery. My job should be safe but you never know and my favourite ways of dealing with stress and worry are building models and computer games. I got a bit heavy handed with the hobby knife but other than that the tank looks great I'm really looking forward to painting it once all this empire stuff is out the way. I'm thinking word beares would look good.
It was only the last two nights that any painting got done. All the hairy hair was based, washed and highlighted. I had originally planned on doing two highlights but you have to draw the line somewhere and they look fine as they are. I also started on the straps which are going to be based black then highlighted with either blue or gray I'll need to check my other minis to see what I used before. After that it's details and riders which should be quite quick and realistically they need to be.
Once the road wardens are finished I only need to paint up the general, bsb and warrior priest to have a working army. I'd like to get the hell blaster done on time and the dream is getting the war wagon delivered and painted but that's not going to happen. With any luck this week I'll find out what's happening at work and relief paint my way through the unit.
Thanks for reading.
