The new year 2026

 Another year in and I'm sure they are getting quicker. Most of this year was taken up with tournament preparation which I still have mixed feelings on. I've been to two now with a third one coming up in January so it can't be that bad. They certainly helped me to get things painted with my empire army finished (although I got a few more units to add some verity) and the dwarfs very nearly completed as well. I do miss painting up whatever I feel like though so maybe I won't enter any more next year or I could try to actually win a game with the empire. I also have 3 unpainted army's I could be working on. The biggest achievement was me going to a social event which I normally try to avoid.

All in all 2025 has been a great year for hobby progress and not too bad in real life terms as well considering how badly it started out every thing turned out fine. I have a few plans for 2026 with a chance that I may even make it to BOYL if it's held on the second weekend. As always things are subject to change but at the moment it's looking to be a good year for the hobby. The dwarfs should be finished then I have a deepkin leviadon I got for my birthday to paint up. I need to try and come up with some lore for my armies as well that's something I always used to enjoy.
