Icon of morr
Or 1 Week to the old world.
Blessings of Nurgle be upon thee! For truly have I been blessed with his gifts and through thy sacred choughs and sneezes I vow to spread his gifts far and wide.
Despite my holy endeavour I did successfully manage to paint the bsb. I owe this achievement not to the plague father but to my wife and daughter who thankfully left me to paint on my one day off this week. Getting this guy painted up has kept me on course to finish the army for next week. Just the general to go and he's mostly armour so although it is tight I'm cautiously optimistic about it.
I'm also mostly happy with the bsb. Some things went better than others but I definitely need to think about investing in some reading glasses for when I'm doing small details like eyes. I can't seem to focus on the brush and the eyes at the same time so it's quite a bit of guess work and hoping for the best. My painting light isn't great either if I try painting something at the wrong angle I might as well turn it off.
I was originally going to paint the death guy black but I wanted the shield to be more defined so changed him to purple. I think it turned out ok. I could really have spent a little more time on the sash to get the black lines finer but it was late in the day and I still had some work to do on him so it was a little rushed. Same with the breastplate it's a little muddled together but you get the general idea.
I also started working on the lore to go with the army which I haven't quite settled on yet but it did feature a champion of Nurgle. Maybe I should have let him win.
Suffer not the clean to live!
Thanks for reading.
