Kragg the Grimm
Kragg the Grimm is one of the most legendary Dwarf Runelords in Warhammer Fantasy Battles. As the oldest living Runelord, he carries centuries of knowledge and skill, having crafted some of the most powerful runes ever seen in the Old World. Residing in the fortress of Karaz-a-Karak, Kragg is revered for his mastery of rune magic and his dedication to preserving the ancient traditions of the Dwarfs. His rune-encrusted weapons and armor are the stuff of legend, and his influence has shaped generations of Dwarven warriors, helping to maintain their strength in the ongoing wars against Greenskins, Skaven, and other foes of the Dwarven race.
With such an iconic dwarf I've been putting off painting him for a long time but I'm on bit of a painting roll at the moment. I kinda followed the original paint job on this one but once I got started I just went with whatever felt right at the time. This was another quick paint job but very enjoyable and provided a great classic mini to my little dwarf host. I did briefly consider painting him in a more realistic style as the ones I saw on a Google search looked really good but that staff was crying out for some colour. I've really fallen behind on painting banners I'm not really that good at freehand so starting is the biggest hurdle. I'll need to find some templates to print off as my usual technique of just start and see what happens method hasn't cutting it with freehand lately.
So far I'm up to 1019 points of an old world army in models alone, not too shabby really. I've got some of the made to order minis coming and my next hobby bucks will probably go towards a unit of slayers which will help fill out the force. Sorry Brettionians I will get to you at some point. One final note, I know grim should only have one m but I spelt it wrong and quite like it with two.
Thanks for reading.
