Chaos dwarf sorcerer

 It's a day late but I never finished painting this guy until 2 am last night so not too bad really. I've probably said this before but one of the first boxes of minis I bought was the chaos dwarfs, it was either them or the dwarfs, before that it was blisters ordered from white dwarf. On my first trip to warhammer world I had to pick this guy up although I never knew which colour scheme to use on him. 

With the colours I pick for my slaves to darkness he turned out alright. I did wonder about the colours for his beard, flame and gem so I'm happy with how they worked out I was especially worried about the beard looking stupid. The flame isn't great I think to much black was added and the gem probably needed another highlight.

I've already started on the next mini which should be a nice change. I decided going from dwarf to giant would be a nice change of pace so I'm looking forward to getting some work done on him. In other news I've had the last week off work so really I should have got alot more done but after working 20 out of 23 days plus 18 hours overtime I really needed to get out and about. Im also on the last episode of Voyager so all in all my times been well spent.
