Storm Eowyn
The road to the old world is going about as well as expected. I've less than half of my painting days left and so far I'm still working on the demigryphs, turns out that even on my painting days I don't get much painting time.
One of the things that's stopped me painting was my daughter wanting to have a go. Since it was the night of storm Eowyn I dug out an old metal mini for her to paint up. I've never seen Eowyn in a pastel colour scheme before but it definitely works shes done a great job.
The demigryphs are almost finished but I've been slowed down by trying to paint yellow over black. One coat my arse army painter I've already done three and it's looking like it will need two more at least. Once the yellow and red are done all thats left are the little details so once I get going it shouldn't take long.
I finally settled on a basing scheme and got the swordsmen done, again. It's a little bland and blends into the minis but I was aiming for an autumn forest and I think I nailed it.
I'll keep painting and try to get stuff done in time for March 1st but it's not looking even slightly likely. The pack isn't out yet but if allies are allowed I could throw a unit of dwarfs in so I'd only need to paint up 4 characters. My other backup plan is to go to an event in May instead which is far more likely. I'll try to do a weekly update which has certainly helped with painting motivation in the past. I am finding myself wanting to paint some necromunda though.
Thanks for reading.
