12 weeks to the old world
Man these weeks are counting down quicker than I would like. Some progress has been made though which is always good to see. The knights have been rebased and while it wasn't as easy as I would have liked it could have been a lot worse. In an effort to make them as secure as possible I snipped off the grass that was modelled on the feet and replaced them pins. It's worth mentioning that the base's I bought off of Amazon are impervious to plastic cement and I don't trust super glue to do the job alone.
The demigryphs are coming along with everything but the little details being done although I think the armour will need another coat of black. I'm trying something new with the champions sword so it'll be interesting to see how that turns out. They are definitely a little messy in places but I can probably tidy them up a little. The feathers or fur they have on their heads also looks like it could use some more definition so I might try something there.
I've also come to the realisation that two thin coats paint might be better than army painter fanatic. That could be because I use a lot more of the army painter but the metallics are definitely not the best. All that being said I can get army painter on Amazon which is really the deciding factor.
Next on the painting table will probably be a wizard. Not sure on a colour scheme for him yet I usually start painting and work it out from there.
Thanks for reading.
