Hobby focus
There are times when I can focus on and get excited about a project. When this happens hobby time, which is usually in short supply, seems to magically appear and I get lots done. Other times, like now, there is no hobby time and no focus. That's not to say nothing gets done I still potter about here and there. The problem is I'm as focused as a toddler with an espresso. So what's going on?
1. Ogres.
It's not enough to be working on a Brettionian, dwarf and empire armys I had to start an ogre one as well. I used the term "working on" extremely loosely. I also want to start an undead army!
2. Kill team.
Why not start a kill team? I already have too much to paint so it needs to be small. Chaos legionnaires fit the bill nicely.
3. A ghoul.
Pretty sure there's a law about going into a hobby shop and having to buy something. This guy was cheap and neat now I want to buy an abhorrent cardinal.
4. Orcs
I saw one of those part works magazines now I have some orcs. I also got a space marine one but so far I've only built them.
So that's what's happening. I also tried writing some background lore for my dwarf and empire armys but I've really not been enjoying what I have. I think that will be deleted and I'll try again. I also rescued a rabbit that had been abandoned at the beach, he's called Bailey because I was eating Bailey's cream biscuits while deciding on a name.
Poor little guy was pretty messed up when we found him. Rabbits can be savage bastards to each other. |
Safe in his new home. Only about 6 months old so with the frosty mornings coming in he probably wouldn't survive outside much longer. |
Until next time folks.
Thanks for reading.
