Two dwarfs in the woods

 It's taken a while but I have finally got back to my blog. I've been really struggling to find some hobby time and once you stop it can be difficult to start again. Lucky i managed to get a good night's sleep and spent some time in the woods to recover from life. It's working so well I'm currently blogging from an old pallet while my daughter plays on a tree swing.

I did manage some painting since the last post and got two dwarfs done. Not my favourite paint jobs I was only using the paints that were easy to reach, my desk was and still is a complete mess. That's going to be my first job when I get home. 

The hammer guy is more or less what I already had in mind and it was good practice for painting red hair on some slayers.

Fist pumping guy is one of my favourite dwarf sculpts and the colour choices really don't do him justice. I did briefly consider repainting him but once he's in a unit I don't think it will matter.

I also painted up a standard bearer, another favourite of mine, but I've not got round to the banner yet so I'll save him for another time.

Hopefully the next post won't take so long I really miss this when I'm unable to do it.
