Otherworld wizard

Bit of a quick one this, another great otherworld mini. I wanted to see what happens when you mix contrast paints with metallics which is how I painted his robes. They turned out alright but I think you would get the same effect by painting metal colours then doing a glaze.

It was a lot of fun painting this guy even if he doesn’t fit into any of my projects. I seem to be moving away from heroic GW minis lately despite how much I like them. I currently have three half painted Necromunda gangs and the iron golems waiting to be primed but rather than get on with it I bought some Normans from footsore miniatures so looking forward to that.
